Sweet place! Charming and ultra-relaxed neighbourhood spot. Food rustic and yummy - tiramisu out of this world!
The food and service were outstanding at this lovely place in Trastavere--it's true that the locals all come around 9, and it got lively. The 4 of us had no trouble getting in around 8. Great experience!
Come for the branzino; stay for the limoncello. It is almost impossible to get into a restaurant in Trastavere without a reservation. Which is why some restaurants that have open tables and where you mostly hear English do not have a lot of hype associated with them. We got in without a problem and yes, we were with other English speakers. And it was pricey. But it was truly a delicious and memorable meal--the carapaccio was among the best that I have had and the grilled sea bass was absolutely perfect: delicate, flavorful, fresh, and worth the trip. Excellent service and free candies and limoncello and much warmth. Around us were other very happy customers.
Very cozy restaurants and great pasta. Only locals, surprisingly little guests
