Family of four, all adore our food, spent 10 days in Italy (Rome Florence and Venice for CMas), a lot of thought and planning went into where we would eat each night. This meal was THE MOST DELICIOUS treat for us all. Every single bite of each course was simply delicious, the staff do not have much English but they are adorable and we loved seeing the interaction with other customers, who all appeared to be adoring their food as much as we did. We did get to thank the beautiful chef who has the biggest and brightest smile I have ever seen, she clearly loves her work and so did we!!!

This was our 2nd visit within the last four days, food was superb as was the service and ambience.

Would recommend and will rebook. Excellent food and service. Worth a visit

We had a superb experience at Hostaria Osottoosopra between Christmas and New Year’s eve. The food was great and the service was really good. We chose the signature beef cheek (Guancia di manzo cotta per otto ore, glassata al Valpolicella con purè di patate) which melted in our mouths but the stars of the show were indeed the pastas: the Spaghetti allo scoglio, but more importantly the Raviolini were both two of the best pastas we have ever had. Our waiter Alex was the best - so kind and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice.

Awesome food. Service great. Have been to many Michelin starred restaurants. This place is low key and to the point. None of the frufru BS. Loved it

The limited menu (which doesn’t seem to change - with gazpacho on the menu in January) did not provide good choices. The mussel appetizer and the artichoke appetizer were very good. Our three pasta dishes and the fish of the day were nothing special. The server was probably having a bad night, but he was at first annoyed and then mellowed out to kind but disinterested.

Most excellent food, in a very comforting atmosphere. Highly recommended .

Nous sommes en congé à Venise. Nous sommes venus 2 fois dans ce restaurant (à 4 personnes la seconde fois) car la carte est contenue mais tous les plats proposés sont vraiment très bons. L'un des serveurs est fort sympathique et de bons conseils. Le cadre est assez intimiste.... Venez , ça vaut le détour .

We had the reservation time wrong by 1/2 hour. My fault however they were so accommodating and sat us immediately and were very gracious. The food was amazing and service was impeccable. Will definitely be back.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, piatti con ingredienti di qualità, servizio rapido e gentile, dolci fatti in casa, non in menù, ottimi e di prezzo rapportato a quelli di Venezia.

Atmosfera confortevole e tranquilla, cibo ottimo e personale molto attento e gentile; il prezzo è in linea con Venezia; 2 antipasti di pesce e 2 secondi di pesce, 1 bottiglia di Traminer, Acqua, caffè e grappa € 119,00 e ci hanno offerto il limoncello.

En dehors des sentiers touristiques de Venise, un restaurant en devenir, je le recommande absolument, très bon rapport qualité prix, service impeccable, participe à l´éveil des quartiers méconnus de Venise!!!

Buona cena, non eccezionale, carino il locale, bella la posizione fuori dai flussi...

As starters we tried a two rather special taste combinations: "Squid with vanilla fennel cream and toasted almonds" as well as "artichoke heart with goat cheese, herbs and ginger carrot cream", both were really very, very delicious! For mains we had "Bigoli (small pasta tubes) with sauce of anchovies and onions with raisins and toasted pine nuts" - they were ok, the anchovies-taste was a bit too dominating for our taste, and "beef cheek cooked for eight hours, glazed with Valpolicella wine and potato mash", which were very good. The dessert (Tiramisu) was maybe not too inventive nor typically "Venetian" but tasted very good and was a pleasant finish. All in all: Recommended!

Very nice staff, helpful and polite and efficuent. My two.plarex of food were inventive and delicious. The readons why goog and not great.....the toiletd are inadequate and under renewal...the dining room was doubt and even scruffy and full of noisy loud Americans.

The food was amazing food and the service was terrific. The waiters were friendly and spoke perfect English.

This is tiny but busy restaurant at the corner of two small canals close to the Ferrovia. The dishes were delicious and well presented and the staff was accommodating. Several good wines were available by the glass. The linocello at the end of the meal was a nice touch. You will have to make a reservation even this late in the season.

If you want an authentic, special dining experience this restaurant is perfect. The waiters were attentive and made you feel relaxed and lost in Venice's charm.
