The restaurant was referred to me by Francesco host of Residenza Ponte Vecchio. I shared the information with a group of nine people that I met and we all wound up at the restaurant same day same time everyone enjoyed their food immensely from the steaks to the duck to the risotto and desserts, also the staff were great…Everything was fantastico!! Highly recommend.

A nice restaurant. We ordered T bone steak. It was the best we have tasted in town. The wine recommended went well with the steak. Service was warm and commendable. It is not in the busiest part of the city but worth going.. prior reservation is recommended.

The food is so exquisite, refined, delicate, creative. And as the Italians say, “da morire” delicious. I had a very unusual little souffle made with Taleggio, an extraordinary pasta with duck filling and a perfect ending to the meal was the light but yum dessert, a kind of panacotta. My Tuscan Sauvignon Blanc was a great recommendation. The staff was as kind, caring and engaging as they come. Cannot wait to go back.

Service et plats de grande qualité. Le tartare burrata et truffe ainsi que le risotto nous ont charmé (sans parler de la pièce de viande avec ses pommes de terre fondantes) ! Un petit bémol pour le tiramisu très bon mais un tout petit peu en dessous du reste. Félicitations au chef et à toute l'équipe !

Lived up to the great reviews- the beef steak is truly exceptional. It’s a cliche used in so many reviews of Florence rstsrants that I didn’t believe it but this genuinely was ‘the best steak ever’! A fantastic, lively neighbourhood, a welcome retreat from the tourist hordes, and the first restaurant we found without loud American voices.

We really liked Le Volte. It’s a small place tucked away on a quiet street in Oltrarno. If I remember correctly, the chef is from a family of butchers who go back 50+ years. We both had steak alla Fiorentina (chianana beef, charred outside and medium-rare inside) and it was fantastic — more so with the Tuscan wine the server recommended. The atmosphere is simple and casual, and the food excellent. We look forward to going back!

Ristorante un po' fuori dal centro di Firenze e quindi perfetto perché non turistico. Qui ho mangiato la fiorentina più buona di sempre, sicuramente perché la carne era di grande qualità visto che il ristorante è adiacente alla macelleria di loro proprietà. Servizio ottimo così come il rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Ristorante super consigliato, bistecca fantastica e personale gentilissimo. Assolutamente da tornarci!

Cena di coppia in questo locale al di lá d Arno (come dicono a Firenze) , locale ben illuminato, intimo e riservato, da sottolineare particolarmente (e non è una cosa comune) la gentilezza, simpatia ed efficienza del personale : pronto, competente e rapido nel servizio. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo , da consigliare vivamente (in base alle nostre scelte della serata) : I Cappellacci e gli gnocchi di patate, a completamento dell’ottima cena va la carne consigliata sia la fiorentina sia la tagliata (per restare leggeri), raccomandabile cottura al sangue e la carne si scioglie in bocca. Solo complimenti per la cucina e per il servizio .
