We went to lunch yesterday and started with mussels and clams. Perfectly done and the broth was heavenly. We dunked every piece of the bread into it until it was gone. Shared a white wine. 5 STARS. I had Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli and again they were outstanding. 5 STARS My husband ordered Trippa alla Romana and would not order it again. He did not like the texture but some people might. 2 STARS Tiramisu was ok. 3 STARS Staff was very friendly and accommodating. 5 STARS We absolutely love this restaurant. Last year 3 times, this year 1 plus more to go. Joanne and Bill Casa Grande, AZ

Visited Mastrociccia twice last week together with my lovely wife and daughter. In my opinion this is the best Italian restaurant in the whole Rome ever! Everything was top notch and they not only welcomed us wonderfully and served us the best dishes of Italian cuisin. They just made us happy with real Italian service with their great temperamen. The waiters sang famous Italian music hits and danced to them. Wow! That's amazing. Moreover, they noticed that we are tourists from Central Europe and treated us to a double great Meloncello drink. Wow! I really appreciate that and I'd recommend Mastrociccia for everyone who wants to see and eat the best from Italians. If I'm ever in Rome again, I'll come back!
Great service and good prices. We had a wide range of dishes, all were excellent. A good mix of tourists (us) and regular local customers.
Our absolutely number one Italian restaurant in Rome! Delicious!!! I do recommend to book a table in advance. The line to this restaurant can be long.
