The best meal we had on a two week trip to Italy. Niro was out server and was outstanding and so helpful. The restaurant is very rustic and comfortable and the food is outstanding. We had the bifstecca and it was delicious. I would highly recommend and I will go back again if I'm ever back in Florence.

Please stop pressuring us to eat as fast as possible. It’s very annoying and unbearable. The waiters are polite but unbearable, ready to throw themselves on your finished plate. A very good fast food at the price of the restaurant.

The food was delicious! We had the sweet burrata appetizer, along with a pici and risotto dish for entree, and tiramisu for dessert. The selections are well worth the price and service is open pretty late. It’s in a good, easy-to-find location in Florence as well, near the Duomo.

This was the most amazing meal. We ordered as a family; the florentine steak, carbonara and gnocchi, all dishes were perfect. Steak comes on a sizzling platter, which added a bit of theatre to dinner.

La comida muy buena, el ambiente y el trato muy buenos. El vino demasiado caro, pedimos una botella de Santa Cristina que nos costó 30€ y que posteriormente vinos en el Carrefour Express por 12,99€; entiendo que en el restaurante siempre es más caro pero me parece una ganancia excesiva.

We had a lovely meal, table enjoyed the pasta, steak and dessert courses. Service was excellent all around.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years on my visits to Florence. We had a reservation as well. The waiter gave us a hard time about seating and didn’t explain that you could scan a code on the menu for English translation-another guest did. My osso bucco was great, though. A for food, D for service.

Service was great! My steak was cooked the perfect temperature, but was lacking a bit of seasoning. Sides were great.

Unfortunately our meal was ruined by an American lady tripping down the steps from the back dining area, grabbing our table to protect her fall resulting in my wife’s wine glass emptying all over her new cardigan, dress and handbag. My wife didn’t enjoy the meal thereafter as all she wanted to do was get back to our hotel to change clothes and wash the wine stained clothes. This was not the fault of the restaurant but the episode ruined a planned Florence steak meal on our last night in Florence.
