great local resturant and food was great and service was great until waitress hands us the check and says the tip is not on the check and when we said there’s no tipping she pushed back - didnt like that !

This place was absolutely amazing! It was some of the best food we’ve had yet in Italy and the staff was incredibly kind!

Food was amazing... I had the Florentine Steak and it was out of this world. Wife enjoyed the Eggplant Parmigiana. The steak is a must to eat in Florence and the one person plate could have easily fed both of us. The only reason that it’s not a 6 is because our waiter seemed to not care about pleasing us and it seemed it was because we were American because everyone else he was talking to and always checking on.

We found the server to be very pushy and borderline obnoxious, not allowing us to purchase wine under 100 euro. We can afford it, but it was awkward. There are steep service charges and the value is just not there for the quality of the overall experience.

This was a nice place but almost all Americans like us. Waiter visited with others cheerfully but was perfunctory with us. Meal good and reasonably priced but took forever to get check and then they charged us for 2 bottles of wine not just the one we had. No big deal but a 10% service fee was added then the waiter said we could add more. We didn’t. Nice place but we can’t eat that heavy a meal every night and prefer it a little more informal after a day of touring. Owner nice but a little overly solicitous with the hand kissing at the end.
