I had the good fortune to dine at St. George last night. By far, it was one of the most exquisite meals I have had. From the canapes to the dessert, it was pure perfection. One can only be in awe of such a young chef executing such a mature, balanced and elegant array of dishes. One is accustomed to the signature dish on a menu being amazing, in this case the pasta, but at St. George every course is a star.

Great food, quite accommodating service, decent dining ambiance but would be even better with outdoor views.

The dinner was absolutely amazing. The presentation, service, freshness of the ingredients and creativity were the finest I have ever experienced. Even though it was expensive it was worth every penny. I recommend doing the wine paring as well. It significantly adds to the experience.

Fantastic on every level. The food was beyond extraordinary. And the service was matched. It's an obscene amount of money, but if you're looking for a once in a lifetime culinary experience, this is it. There was not one wasted bite in the meal, every bite had multiple flavor profiles. And of course you get to pair with Sicilian wines.

Oltre alla incredibile cura nella presentazione dei piatti, alla grande perizia nella costante ricerca di sorprese nell'accostamento dei sapori ed alla certosina meticolosità della mise en place, spicca la assoluta professionalità dello staff, estremamente friendly ma solidamente preparato allo stesso tempo 😊. Se passate da Taormina, non potete non fermarvi!

Abbiamo cenato all’aperto con una vista magnifica, che da sola valeva la serata. La cena ottima ma non ho trovato la genialità che avevo sperimentato alla “La Pergola” a Roma.

We had the most amazing meal for my mother’s birthday. This place is worth every dollar. The food was magnificent, so creative and presented like a work of art. The service was impeccable. You can tell that every person is passionate about their role. We had a chance to meet the chef and thank him for his creations. The signature tortellini was a highlight for me as was the 3 courses of desserts!

The restaurant was excellent — I haven’t eaten this well in a long time. The staff were truly outstanding and gave great recommendations. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A Birthday to Remember at St. George – Taormina Had the most unforgettable birthday dinner last night at St. George by Heinz Beck, a 2 Michelin-star gem in Taormina. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed — the hostess even greeted me by name (flawlessly!) which showed such care and attention. Even though I arrived early, they made me feel comfortable and offered a drink while preparing the table. The water and wine selections were presented with such knowledge and passion — especially the sommelier, who was brilliant. The food? Absolutely phenomenal — every course was art on a plate, and the desserts were just as impressive. Honestly, the experience exceeded all expectations… if it were up to me, they’d have a third star already. Grateful for such a beautifully orchestrated evening. A perfect way to celebrate life.

Absolutely fabulous! Lovely setting overlooking the bay at Toarmina. Exceptional food and service as you would expect at a 2 Michelin star restaurant. The only comment we would make is that we always share a wine pairing as we struggle to manage a full glass with each tiny portion and have always been accommodated in other restaurants, however here they refused to provide a second glass per course, which we found very strange.

The food experience was amazing. Every plate was very delicious and with very innovative flavor combinations.

Not happy about the seats. The waiter leads us to the seat with view being blocked. Before we got seated, I asked to change as no one is using seats in the middle with better view, but the waiter refused. We don’t want to make a scene there so let it go. We were very unhappy about this and my view was completely blocked by tree so it pretty much ruined the whole dinner.

An inspiring and delightful 'food as art' experience. Everything was delicious, the presentation sensational and the service team was first rate. We especially appreciated all the choices on the well-curated water menu, many of which we'd never seen before. The garden setting, the plates and the view were also both creative and luxurious.
