Ausgezeichnete Küche aber leider ein etwas chaotischer Service. Unbedingt reservieren!

Locale gestito molto alla buona. Molto piccolo e posti stipati. Ok, sei una "Taverna" e ci può stare. Ordini una gricia e un polipo con le verdure grigliate e aspetti 50 minuti. Ok, sei una "Taverna" e ci può stare. Le verdure grigliate non ci sono e la ragazza che ti serve deve leggere il menù per controllare se fanno parte del piatto. Ok, sei una "Taverna" aperta dagli anni '50 a gestione famigliare e ci può stare. Si affannano a dirti che 2 broccoletti te li mettono su e che sono a conduzione famigliare e che il cuoco è da solo ecc. ecc. Dinieghi anche vedendo che tengono aperta la porta della cucina, la porta di ingresso e la finestra in cucina per far uscire il fumo sprigionato dalla carne cucinata con la griglia. Dopo 50' di attesa per un piatto non hai certo voglia di aspettare ancora. Ti offrono il sorbetto o il dolce ma dinieghi. Vabbè, una "Taverna". Poi arriva il conto ed è quello di un ristorante stellato! Ahahaha! Vabbè dai, è una "Taverna" per turisti (quei turisti, stranieri, che al tavolo a fianco al nostro sono andati via sbattendo la porta per aver mangiato un piatto che non era quello che si aspettavano). Magari in una "Taverna", con prezzi da stellato per i turisti, riescono ancora a scontare un piatto e un servizio mal riuscito (ma questi l'hanno mai visto 4 ristoranti di Borghese?). Non dico uno sconto della pietanza totale. Ma una significativa percentuale sarebbe bastata a far bella figura. E in effetti lo sconto c'è stato: 50 centesimi! Ahahahah. Mai più.

Very small Italian restaurant but one of the best meals we had in Rome. The owner treated us like her family. Steak was incredible & tuna steak was one of the best we’ve had anywhere.

If you want amazing food and a at home vibe this is your spot! Make a reservation and plan on spending time in this charming little slice of heaven in Rome.

The food was very good. But you have to be patient. Very patient. 30 minutes to give my order. 30 minutes to bring the food. The old ladies that run the place were nice but i think they need some professional personnel.

Une excellente découverte ! Les carbonara étaient exceptionnelles, le tiramisu divin. Le cadre est simple mais on s’y sent à la maison, digne de la cuisine proposée. Nous sommes venus à Rome en espérant trouver ce type de gastronomie italienne, c’est fait ! Merci !

The food was good, although the description of the food could have been clearer, such as if the dish is a cold salad, it should be described as such. Also it took quite a while to get the check and it appeared that the server and the owner/manager

The assorted antipasti was out of this world! The cabbage, fried cheese, eggplant, couscous, everything was 👨🏻‍🍳😘. Everyone who works there was super friendly, including a very sweet wiener dog! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. For €70, three of us left EXTREMELY satisfied.

Ho visitato Taverna Ripetta a Gennaio 2017. Sono arrivato verso le 21:15, dopo un viaggio da Milano, per incontrarmi con un ex collega a cena. Abbiamo iniziato con un bis di antipasti consigliati dalla padrona di casa, il Brick, un piatto del nord Africa, uovo e tonno, avvolti in una sorta di frittella, veramente delizioso e un piatto di Falafel, anche questi ben preparati ed impiattati. Come primo io ho ordinato un piatto di Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, veramente ottimi, il condimento perfetto e cottura della pasta perfetta come piace a me. Come secondo ho scelto di ordinare la Tagliata di carne argentina all'aceto balsamico, veramente gustosa, carne tenerissima, l'unico appunto forse è la dimensione, sarà stato un taglio di quasi mezzo chilo!!! Per dessert, anche se chiaramente non è locale, ma in memoria dei vecchi tempi, ho preso il bunet piemontese (molto buono, non è assolutamente facile farlo) ed un amaro. Il tutto innaffiato con acqua frizzante, un calice a testa di Montepulciano di Abbruzzo. Conto finale 90€ che, considerata la qualità dei piatti gustati, è il giusto prezzo. IL locale entra d'obbligo nella mia short list di locali di Roma.
