Trattoria al Gazzettino

We felt very rushed. The staff were friendly, and free dessert, gift of pasta was nice, but we couldn't relax and enjoy our food because they clearly wanted to turn over the table.

We were treated with very warm and attentive service. We are a family of 4, with two teenage children. We really enjoyed our meals, and our teens say that it was their favorite restaurant in Venice. They had a pasta, their favorite food! One of us has a gluten sensitivity(adult), and so had the gluten-free pasta, which was very good. One of the adults had the curry, and a seafood soup, and was very pleased with both. I wish we would have come to this restaurant sooner, so we could return during this trip. We will likely return, as we will be back to visit Venice regularly(family live in area). We recommend this place!

Buenos días, Soy celíaca y encontré este lugar como recomendación para esta dieta. Lo visité el año pasado y me pareció que estaba riquísimo y a buen precio. Este año, la visita me pareció con poca oferta para mi dieta, caro y no estaba tan bueno.

Great food and excellent atmosphere. Try the pasta with crab! They served us gnocchi and wine even when wevwere waiting outside. Superb quality and definitely reccomnended.

Buonissima trattoria. Buon cibo, simpatia e cortesia. Una ottima pasta con capesante ed una eccellente e croccante frittura mista di pesce e verdure. Da provare.

I had a good time there. The was Very good, the service also Very kind and the price honest. They ofertted me saem gifts, like a desert and a past.

Touristic restaurant. Food was great however we were literally pushed out of our space because a big group was coming. Asking kindly would have been nice.

The food was great and service was good but we felt a bit rushed. In addition to what we ordered, they brought out pasta samples, complimentary after dinner wine and liquor, and cake and cookies. The waiter kept trying to take our plates away before we were finished.

che dire,"mister" gazzettino è un portento:aperitivo(gratuito)nella calle,con assaggi,in attesa del tavolo(prenotato).cucina veloce e buona(senza fronzoli ma badando al sodo) in un locale piccolo ma accogliente e ricco di storia locale e recente.conto giusto per la media fatta tra alcuni ricarichi eccessivi sui piatti e piccoli sconti fatti(caffè+grappino+biscotti offerti).unico grande neo la troppa fretta di servire per liberare i tavoli,ma comunque sempre con battute e sorrisi in allegria.

We were with a small group and they served us quickley and friendly. The risotto you get complimentary when entering is great! And we got a grappa from the house. Super

Ristorante carino e personale molto simpatico e disponibile. Cibo buono prezzo con prezzo nella norma per Venezia. Un' insalata di mare, un misto gratinato di pesce ed un antipasto di sarde in Saor con moscardini al sugo e vongole con polenta. Poi abbiamo preso un branzino con capperi ed olive per due ( ma anche per tre) un filetto, qualche dolce offerto, vino della casa ed una grappa 145,00 € con pacco di pasta di grab a o offerto all'uscita

Super extra resto. Voyageurs du Québec accompagnés d'amis de la Belgique. Nous avons tellement aimé notre premier souper que nous sommes retournés pour diner. The food was really good but the service and experience is extremely rushed. We went in at 8.15 and the bill hit the table at 9.05. As soon as we ordered, the food came in - even before drinks. Complimentary desert and liquor as well as a pack of pasta gift. I would recommend it nevertheless. For Italian standards I think the pasta is in the expensive side. We ordered the crab and the prawn tagliatelle, both quite nice.

Una trattoria tipica! Davvero divertente il servizio (sebbene frettoloso), dall'accoglienza al modo di portare il cibo a tavola. Buon cibo, ottimo pesce, varietà di vino gradevolissime. Una vera e propria esperienza da provare a Venezia anche per l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Excellent accueil, attentions particulières au début et à la fin du repas, adresse difficile à trouver. Bon rapport qualité/ prix. Vaut le détour..prix raisonnable. S

Muy buena comida y la atención del personal fue muy acogedora. El precio es razonable localizado muy céntrico entre Rialto y San Marco. Un sitio muy recomendable. Volveré seguro.

Très bonne soirée au gazerttino : bonne cuisine nombreux petits cadeaux apéritif gâteau...et en plus un cadeau souvenir à notre départ pour fêter Noël merci au patron et augouri

Cibo buono e locale caratteristico. Personale gentile. Unico neo dovuto alla molta clientela che comporta un'eccessiva velocità nel servire i clienti per consentire di far accomodare chi attende all'esterno.

Ottima trattoria con servizio cordiale e veloce. Piatti della cucina Veneziana cucinati al momento e pasta fatta in casa! Antipasto della casa da provare con le sarde in saor che ci sono piaciute molto! Tagliolini alla granceola e pasta di Gragnano con Capesante... Ottime così come il tiramisù fatto in casa. Per finire un'ottima grappa con uvette. Consiglio di provarlo!

Presso la trattoria al Gazzettino di Venezia sono stata con mio marito esattamente la sera del 1° novembre 2016. Il cibo è stato sublime e la cordialità del proprietario e di tutto lo staff è stata indimenticabile. Ad un tratto le luci si sono spente e la musica per festeggiare il mio compleanno è iniziata. Davvero una splendida serata a base di baccalà e fegato alla veneziana, e per finire dei dolci da leccarsi i baffi. Ci torneremo sicuramente perchè davvero merita. Atmosfera cordiale e buona cucina, anche se a mio giudizio un po' troppo turistica ma d'altra parte siamo a Venezia. Il giudizio comunque è positivo.

Semplicemente eccezionale. Non era la prima volta per me a "Il gazzettino". Ci siamo quindi affidati al "patron". Pranzo a base di paesce, freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione. Servizio impeccabile, cordiale e grande disponibilità. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Anzi vista la qualità dei piatti direi molto più economico di altri locali...Ambiente sereno e caloroso. Da frequentare ogni volta che si viene a Venezia.

Disappointed as we were ask to leave the table before finishing our meal, as the resteraunt wanted to put other people on the table. The resteraunt needs to look at its booking system.

We had an early supper at Trattoria al Gazzettino..just after the restaurant opened at 6:00 PM. We visited because my wife is Celiac and had discovered they offer many gluten free options. The pasta was lovely and their house wine was perfect after "opening up" a few minutes. The gluten free pasta bolognese that my wife had was served al dente and delicious. The service was warm and friendly...not always found in Venice, with the right amount of attention. We were treated to some unexpected extras by the chef and the host which was an extraordinary touch. My wife had a grilled squid appetizer which was also yummy. As we did not have a secondi course we cannot comment but other diners seemed very happy with their plates! We would absolutely recommend this restaurant and would revisit if our travels take us back to Venice.

Too much noise for nothing. Very crowded, waiters are running up and down and are looking pretty distress. Food was tasty but nothing normal. Not recommended for an easy going night out

Everything was wonderful that we ordered from Pasta pesto, & anatra to the huge grilled fish... then Tiramisu. This staff bends over backwards trying to help. There is even complementary pasta to take come and after dinner drinks. The only issue is how fast they serve the food and then the next reservation is ready to take over your table as soon as you finish eating and pay the bill. We were in and out in less than an hour.

We had a 7:30 reservation that was honored about 8. But we were pacified by complimentary wine and pasta. The restaurant is quite small but the food is good and the somewhat harried waiters provide good service. We were hurried to order, hurried to eat, and hurried out the door. I did not feel like a guest at all. I met people I could not continue a conversation with because the owner was telling us he had 20 people waiting. As long as he has 20 people waiting I guess he will be fine. But, I will go where I will not feel rushed but will feel like a guest.

The food is no good, bad taste. tiramisu was okay. But owner was very friendly and kept feeding people in the queue and constantly reminding us to upload pictures on Facebook.

Great service and very friendly staff and other customers, everyone entered into the spirit of the evening, Canadians, Americans, Brits and Italians we all had a wonderful meal and good company. Nice wine list and when next in Venice we will eat there again, the sea food was exquisitely cooked and well presented.

Vraiment la classe le patron!!! Il offre pleins de choses. Les plats sont excellents. Mais n'oubliez pas de réserver sinon vous ferez la queue !!!

Il cibo non era cotto come richiesto, il cibo non è arrivato nel giusto ordine, e il server ci ha fatto fretta di finire in modo da poter ospitare un grande gruppo.

Tipica trattoria ... il calore e l'allegria di chi ti accoglie ti avvolge. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il servizio è stato super veloce e puntuali nell'assegnarci il tavolo prenotato. Alla fine ci hanno coccolato con i dolci della casa ed il caffè offerti.... e a fine cena ci hanno regalato anche della pasta da portare via. Che dire super soddisfatti

Muy buen servicio. Rissotto increíble. Pasta perfecta y buen ambiente. El trato a los niños muy adecuado. Sin duda para repetir. Además te puedes hacer una foto con sombrero de gondolero.
