Fantastic first meal in Venice… Staff were so friendly and great in helping choose what to eat and the wine to go with it…and the food was amazing.. went all in on seafood and the baked sea bream…superb.. thanks !

Our experience here tonight was wonderful. A warm, cozy space with friendly and skilled wait staff. Georgi made sure everything was to our satisfaction, and he was very nice. We had the lobster tagliatelle and the spaghetti with clams. Both were excellent. The terimisou was fantastic as was the suggested wine pairing for our dinner. All in all, a superb dining experience.

Delicious food, great ambience and the manager was very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

I booked a table for 2 in celebration of my wife's birthday. The food and the service was great especially before it got very crowded. the Fish Soup was really delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and as requested the desert was brought to the table with a candle, which my wife loved very much. slight downside was that i was looking forward to sitting outside by the canal, but the available table on the balcony was a bit cramped and the flowerpots had several cigarette butts, therefore we opted to sit at an inside table.

Sono tornata subito! Tutto ottimo! E tornarei dinuovo quando sarò a Venezia!

Off the typical tourist path Great atmosphere but food just mediocre.

The carbonara and caprese salad were delicious. However, the staff could have been a bit more attentive.

For starters we ordered a mixed salad and grilled vegetables which were fine. For the main course we each ordered linguini with clam sauce, which we found bland and ordinary. For desert we tried the tiramisu which again was was just ok. The interior of the restaurant is very charming and the service is fine. We would suggest trying something else. With wine the bill came to 90 euros--typical for venice.

La comida ha sido sensacional, desde la ensalada de pulpo, los spaghetti con langosta picante y los feruchini de la casa, hasta el magnífico tiramisu!!!!! Para repetir !!

A Venezia vengono a mancare sempre di più i veneziani e anche al livello culinario il turismo di massa e non ha rovinato i veri luoghi del buon mangiare. Dona Onesta è invece una vera eccezione dei locali di buona accoglienza. Ambiente, cucina e servizio sono ottimi. Per me non è la prima volta che vado lì e per voi provateci finalmente!

Dîner du 25 décembre à la trattoria Dona Onesta. Aperol Spritz gargantuesque puis excellentes spaghettis aux langoustines accompagnées d’un très bon valponicella. Excellent biscuit au citron au dessert. Très bon rapport qualité -prix. Le service est convenable mais pourrait être plus souriant. David et Chantal (Strasbourg, France).

food was not cleared after finishing and dishes brought out while dirty plates still on the table. no time between courses. just wanted the table back

Les pâtes étaient très bonnes, avec des portions généreuses, serveurs agréables. Petit pour le tiramisu et le service qui était un peu lent. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Далековато от самого центра, но кухня прекрасная, морепродукты свежие. Интересная подача, если сидите на улице (рекомендую там и сидеть). В конце угостили лимончелло!

Cozy and friendly environment with great seafood. The wine (I had a Cabernet) is also amazing. Hoping the bathroom was a bit cleaner but loved it
