A beautiful restaurant with a great history. The central room is excellent in size and design and enables large family gatherings of Italians, of all ages, to celebrate family events The food is of a high quality, with wine at a reasonable price. Above all the menu differs from the traditional Nonna recipes, which makes quite a change from village restaurants We visit Italy three or four times a year and Bacciomeo is always the first place we book for Sunday lunch
Always a great restaurant. The food, ambience and wine are always good. We especially like the different items on the menu, especially the specials
The ambience is always good and above all, it is always full of locals. This weekend there were two large parties celebrating an 18th birthday and a Confirmation. The service was not distracted and the parties added to the experience
A beautiful restaurant in the centre of Palaia. High walls and ceilings, beautiful windows and historical frescoes. More important, the food was excellent and varied from standard Italian fare. The wine and food was reasonably priced and the Sunday lunchtime was full of Italian families, of all ages
Very friendly and professional service. The dishes came maybe even a little too fast, but that is of course not a real problem. Good, balanced menu. Extensive wine list. Only a potty that the Vernaccia di gemignano was not available. We certainly return!
This restaurant is simply superb. We were greeted with kind hospitality and given the choice to sit inside or outside. We opted for inside, although is seemed most preferred outside. The service was very good, but as the restaurant filled up it became a little slower, but not unduly & we were not waiting around. We ordered Prosecco and cocktails to start followed by a San Leonardo Tuscan wine. Soon after ordering out waitress came to say that the wine we ordered was out of stock, but they offered us a finer wine from the same vineyard for the same price, which was very generous. The food... was spectacular. The seafood was so fresh and the meat so tender. My father, a vegetarian, opted for the vegetarian platter from the starters, and he was given a culinary experience. On the rest of the table we had the goose, pork fillet and turbot, all of which were superb. I would go on to say with presentation and quality, this is close to Michelin star, whilst still keeping a rustic and family feel to the food and service. Finished off with biscuits, coffee and vin santo. All-round a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Oh, and the prices are extremely reasonable!
Nice setting. Informal and good food. We had dinner outside better because they have no airco inside
Cucina semplice ma genuina... La signora mette il cuore nel suo lavoro
