Ditirambo Roma

We had a fabulous meal at Ditirambo. Ended up having four courses but shared several of them. Had the anti pasta platter, then some great pasta (forgot the name of it), then the suckling pig, with the best pistachio gelato ever for dessert. We sat outside because the weather was perfect- lots of road noise and activity but we didn’t mind. Inside was bustling and looked very cozy.

Excellent food & service. Our waitress took time to explain the food choices & was very attentive! We would definitely go back & recommend it to others. The pasta with truffle was the best I’ve ever had.

Excellent meal. They always have interesting taste combinations. For example the Octopus with puree carols and ginger. We always visit when in Rome.

Our server was very nice, patient and helpful. She helped us make our food an authentic Romano meal. The food was delicious. Starting with the homemade bread and focaccia “as much as you want” to the delicious appetizers, pasta and grilled calamari and suckling pig. All delicious and served to us by friendly staff. I definitely recommend and would go again.

Amazing food. I would recommend anyone to go and eat here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very happy to deal with bad attempts at Italian and help with corrections though they all speak English. Food is reasonably priced considering the quality and the range of wines is excellent. Will be returning!

Ristorante dove ero già stato e si è confermato ottimo per qualità, accoglienza ed ambiente. Menù che tra l’altro cambia a seconda degli ingredienti di stagione rendendo i pasti ancora più graditi e piacevoli.

Ditirambo is a fantastic place to dine. Its central location makes it easy to access if you are planning a day around the eastern bank of the Tiber river. Being right next to the Campo de' Fiori makes it a fantastic find around the otherwise touristy eateries in the area. The food is fantastically prepared and is extremely fresh. The rich cheeses acquired from the local dairy elevate even the readily accessible cacio e pepe to a new level. The specials incorporate a degree of creativity that definitely does not compromise the complex flavors of the dish. The desserts are equally original and complex. Definitely a favorite place to enjoy a fantastic meal that is sensibly priced given the quality.

Wait staff aggressive in wanting me to try an appetizer that I ordered, but did not end up eating. Only complaint. Everything else was excellent.

Fantastico! Ci e' piaciuto molto! We really enjoyed this restaurant. All five of our primi were exceptional. The secondi were very good too. I thought the waiters were very knowledgeable and kind. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

A quiet extremely well prepared tasty meal. Best tastiest meal I had in 5 days in Rome. Location at lunch near Piazza Navona in Rome. Reasonably priced considering the quality of the food and the overall experience.

Always lively and full, mixed crowd of Italians and stanieri. One of our favorites in Rome. Young and friendly staff, excellent selection, good wine list, very pleasant atmosphere even with tight seating. Recently we had 2 prosecchi, bottle of P.G. Lageder, 2 bottles water, burratina with mint and pomodorini (delicious)followed by lasagna (a bit heavy) for K, while I had yummy grilled octopus and very good braised cheeks, ending with sorbetti, one lemon-mint (excellent) one mango-mint (too 'dark') and a grappa and a passito gratis. 115E (not counting tip) Great value for the price. Will return often

A lovely, cozy place, with a friendly and helpful staff and a creative and excellent menu. Great for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Bread to die for! We will be back.
