Food was good. Service was the worst in Positano so far. Waiter was rude and nine ever comes back to the table to check on anything. We were outside and it started to rain and no one even asked if we wanted to move tables.

Location is perfect, food are fantastic! The waiter Alfonso is very kind and funny! We loved to be there!

We arrived for our reservation and we sat immediately and ordered our starters and drinks. We waited 45 minutes and no one came back to the table to take the rest of order. When we asked for the bill they tried to bribe us with limoncello. Very disappointed and the starters were not that great. Tough mozzarella cheese!!’ Poor Positano experience. Walked down the street and ate delicious pizza!!!

Terrible service. Owner was rude and charged us for a wine we weren’t fond of. Refused to swap it. Not a big deal but the service could have been more attentive as well.

Very welcoming staff let us choose our table that overlooks the water. Nice wine selection and they gave us big glasses that enhanced the flavor of the full body red wine from Ischia. Zucchini flowers in tempura flower appetizer was delicious as was the grilled lamb chops, sea bass baked with lemon and orange and grilled zucchini. Dessert of lemon cake was amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Plus we liked the resident 🐈.

Great food and service! I had the scialatielli and grilled lamb chops. My wife had the caesar salad and pasta cacio e pepe. All were delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Il Fornillo! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Although busy we still had great service. Someone even accidentally knocked over our bottle of wine we ordered when passing by and they were kind enough to replace the bottle and offer us a new table cloth even though it wasn't needed. We would highly suggest this to anyone looking for something delicious to eat in Positano that's not on the main strip.

Great food with a great view! Further away from the main area of Positano so less expensive and without the hustle and bustle. Had dinner here two nights in a row.

Food was very good. The fish was excellent. Pizzas were good. Fish appetizer were also very good. I think that our waiter was new at the restaurant so the quality of the service was uneven. I would suggest the restaurant take more time in training new employees. Having said that we had a good meal and had a great time. Definitely would recommend.

This restaurant is a nice change of pace from the typical beach restaurants. The food is gorgeous and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic.

Fantastic food! Risotto with prawn and lemon was out of this world. Also had the zucchini flower appetizer- two thumbs up! Nice view and ambience, too!!!

I reserved this restaurant for dinner as it was quite close to the hotel we stayed at and it turned out to be a great choice. They served tasty twisted bread sticks in olive oil before the meal and I really liked the home made pasta with scallops and mussels. The mussel stew for appetizer and panna cotta for desert were brilliant. The atmosphere was also quite pleasant. However, the service got rather slow during peak hours, so I recommend to go there early, say, before 7pm if possible.
