This was just okay. Read fabulous reviews and was very excited to go. Was definitely off the beaten path. We had the fried zucchini flower and fried mushrooms appetizer. That was delicious. I ordered spaghetti with tomato, basil and burrata. I don’t think the spaghetti was fresh pasta. There wasn’t anything special about it- however it was served piping hot which I like. I was a little disappointed…I didn’t feel as though it was an authentic Italian dish. My husband had the beef fillet. It was a very generous size. He ordered medium rare but the server recommended medium because she said the chef always prepared it RARE. He agreed- medium, please. She wasn’t kidding. It was very rare. He ate half of it and asked if they could cook it a bit more. (It was purple- so rare!) They took it back and returned it well done. He said that it was still good but he wasn’t interested in a well done beef fillet. The bread and olive oil (olive oil was €2 per person) were both very good. The servers (appeared to be a husband and wife team) were both very friendly and hospitable. Food took a very long time to come out. I learned about this restaurant from a travel blog. So did another set of diners seated nearby. I was hoping for a fabulous meal as we had experienced at 2 different restaurants in Florence but it was just okay. 😔

Wonderful home cooking. Lots of locals and a bit off the beaten path forwards the edge of the historical centre. Good pricing and portions. Will be back. We had the rabbit and wild boar pasta. Both were delicious and a very ample lunch for 2. Grazie mille!

Frequento questo locale e lo apprezzo, buon cibo, atmosfera simpatica. Gli spazi sono ridotti e questo genera un pochino di vocio di sottofondo, ma si sa e non disturba. Moto positiva

Ciao a me e' piaciuto molto l'ambiente tipico da trattoria toscana. I piatti, anche. La mia amica, ha preso i pici,erano troppo al dente, ma ce li hanno sostituiti con un altra pasta. Nel complesso mi e' piaciuto.

Restaurante tradicional, típico, agradable y simpático. interesantes las recomendaciones del día. Buena relación calidad/precio. Correcto y a buen precio el vino de la casa. Buenos postres.

Delicious food, excellent and friendly service. The pasta in particular was incredibly good. We sat outside in the evening -- it was a lovely experience. Highly recommend it!
