La Staffa

We have visited La Staffa 5 times during 2024. Each time excellent. Luca and his staff make you feel very comfortable. The food is super. I am sure there are many great dishes, but the ones we have had are steak tartare (very unique), the "tower" of eggplant or salmon, any pasta, and the tuna as a second course. Wine from Lazio is special and very good. For those who do not speak Italian, no problem, as Luca and his staff speak enough English to get your easily through your meal. If you want a unique neighborhood experience in Rome, take a taxi to this excellent restaurant in the Parioli.

Aprile 2024 En l’italiano Abbiamo fatto un altro pasto meraviglioso a La Staffa. Abbiamo visitato questo ristorante diverse volte negli ultimi tre anni e continua a offrire un'esperienza eccellente in ogni dimensione: cibo freschissimo preparato ad arte, ottimo vino e servizio caloroso e cordiale da parte di Luca (proprietario/chef) e Filippo. Abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di cenare all'aperto, il che ha arricchito un'esperienza già fantastica. La Staffa è ai Parioli, quindi un po' lontana dal nostro appartamento nel Nomentano, ma ne vale la pena! In English We had another wonderful meal at La Staffa. We have visited this restaurant several times over the past three years, and it continues to offer an excellent experience in every dimension – super fresh food artfully prepared, great wine, and warm and friendly service from Luca (owner/chef) and Filippo. We had the opportunity to dine outside, which added to an already great experience. La Staffa is in the Parioli, and hence a bit far from our flat in the Nomentano -- but well worth the trip!
