On se sent tout de suite bien dans ce petit restaurant où l'authenticité de la patronne Simona nous enchante ! Les plats sont excellents avec un osso bucco et une purée des plus goûteux. Le tiramisu est tout aussi raffiné et vraiment succulent. Nous recommandons à 200% Pietro Valentini pour la qualité de sa cuisine et la simplicité et extrême gentillesse de Simona sa patronne et de sa serveuse.

Incredible food in an intimate atmosphere. Simona seemed to know everyone who came through her door, and if she didn’t at first, she definitely did by the end of your meal. You won’t regret eating here!

Excellent food and service. Simona is a gem of a woman. So personable and genuine. It was a pleasure to be able to dine there.

We were impressed with every single course at dinner - fried veggies, sauteed chicory root, cacio e pepe, carbonara, ossobucco, tiramisu, and puff pastry with custard and strawberries. The mother and son were so kind and generous. This was our only dinner in Rome based on a random woman going out of her way to recommend it and giving us their business card when she overheard me telling a friend in a nail salon that I was going to Rome. We plan to repay it by passing along the business card again!

The family that owns the restaurant are lovely. The food and wine were delicious . We had the Caprese salad and mushrooms with pecorino. Both outstanding. The gnocchi with Gorgonzola was the best dish I have had in Rome. My husband said the meatballs were incredible. I will highly recommend this place to all going to Rome. It is very special.

Our dinner and the entire experience was fantastic! Staff was engaging and fun for us helping us learn Italian phrases and taking photos of the four of us. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will certainly come back on our next trip! Gracie!

We were recommended to dine here by my cousin from Chicago. Pietro Valentini’s exceeded our expectations on atmosphere, food quality and customer service. Simona is the best host with excellent food suggestions like the calamari and gnocchi. She’s charming runs the show on the floor. Everything our party of four ate was a WOW including the risotto and tiramisu. Chef Gabriele knows his business in the kitchen and carries on his family’s traditions with his own special touch. We can’t wait to come back!

Wir haben am Nachmittag für den Abend einen Tisch reserviert. Das Restaurant liegt etwas abseits der touristischen Hauptstraßen. Es ist ein eher kleines und familiäres Restaurant. Und das macht es zu einem bezaubernden Ort. Das Essen ist großartig und alle, die dort arbeiten sind so freundlich. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend dort. Vielen Dank dafür.

Highly recommend!! This is a bit off the beaten path, but still very walkable (staying near the Spanish Steps). Very small and intimate feel, and the food is Excellent! The wait staff was very engaging and made us feel welcome immediately! We had a few appetizers and the fillet and gnocchi entries. Both were AMAZING! You MUST try the cheese bread. It is next level!

Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt in einer schönen kleinen Gasse und ist sehr charmant und authentisch eingerichtet. Es ist eher klein, weshalb eine Reservierung dringend empfohlen ist, wenn man nicht auf viel Glück angewiesen sein möchte. Die Gastgeberin ist unheimlich herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war hervorragend: Die gefüllten Fiori di zucca fritta waren saftig, knusprig und einfach köstlich. Auch die anderen Speisen waren ausgesprochen lecker und wirkten auf uns absolut authentisch, ebenso wie der Hauswein. Alles in allem hatten wir dort das schönste Abend während unseres Aufenthalts in Rom - hier stimmt einfach alles.

Food was ok, but the drinks are a rip-off. We stayed for a week in Rome, but never ever paid that much on just a few drinks. You pay even less when sitting on a terrace at Piazza Navona. We don't recommend this place. They rip you off.

Warm service and tasty food. However, the owners should appreciate that some customers do understand Italian and they do not wish to hear the owners’ domestic disputes. I also ordered ravioli com castagne & white truffle; parsimonious with the truffle compares to restaurants in Piedmont.

We ate at Pietro Valentini multiple times last year during white truffle season and were hoping that the experience would be the same this year. We were not disappointed. The heady perfume of white truffle filled the air as Signora Simona sliced the tubers over elegant fettuccine glistening with a light butter sauce. One bite and we were in heaven. Magnificent!
