Absolute favorite meal of the whole visit. And a great location

Server kept asking "Good Service?" and pushing the server book back toward us as to say he wanted a tip every time he walked by. We were still finishing up our wine and felt is was kind of rude...not to mention the service was not that good. Food was pretty decent. Tortellini was made fresh in house, bonus points for that. Had the tiramisu and it was not made correctly and super soggy. Would not really recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Venetian restaurant.

Service was great as always; one of us had been once before, the other several times over many years. The menu offers a good selection of Venetian favourites and more creative dishes, but always cooked very well. The peaceful atmosphere in the garden is delightful and service by the waiters was attentive.

I always go back to this nice place. Good food , nice people , a beautiful garden. One of my favorite restaurants in Venice. I recommend it to my friends !

nett und typisch für italienische Trattoria eingerichtetes Lokal. Essen war gut, insbesondere die Qualität des Filets. Beilagen, die gesondert bestellt werden müssen, sind eher einfallslos. Service erschien nicht sehr interessiert.

Lovely dinner at Montin's! Sat outside in the picturesque gardens at the back, with pergolas over the dining area. The menu is unfussy, but offers plenty of high quality, local fare, and was excellently prepared. Staff were attentive and helpful.

La location estiva è molto suggestiva, si mangia sotto un'arcata di foglie, al fresco. Cibo veneziano di buona qualità, in un'atmosfera tranquilla, lontano dalla pazza folla!

The garden is a beautiful setting, the food is good quality and tastes delicious and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this, it is a hidden gem.

Ottima la cucina, piatti molto buoni e porzioni adeguate. Personale molto cortese. Ambiente raffinato e molto accogliente, quasi fiabesco: un giardino in centro a Venezia.

The setting in the garden is so beautiful. The pasta and tiramisu were excellent and the service was friendly, although they refused to offer an English menu so we had to use google translate. The portions were small and we wish there was more on the plate. However, we would come back for more.

Spaghetti e vongole da tornare il giorno dopo, dolci pericolosissimi, con un bravo e simpatico cameriere di origine asiatica che ci ha fatto sentire a casa nostra. La Locanda Montin è piacevole sia per pranzo (specialmente quando si può mangiare nel giardino) che la sera. Un bel posto senza pretese dove si mangia benissimo.

we had a wonderful dinner on June 8th at Locanda Montin. Caprese salad, spaghetti in black squid ink, mixed grilled fish, fish with artichokes, and tiramisu. our best dinner in four nights.

La serata era sicuramente complicata 31 Dicembre, ma il menu, anche se accettabile in qualità, è stato a differenza di altre altre occasioni, molto internazionale e poco Veneto come avrei gradito.
