Everything was perfect! The food, the atmosphere and the service. A perfect evening!

The waiters tried to charge us x2 extra glasses of prosecco out of nowhere, it felt they were expecting we wouldn't notice.

Excellent food - we had osso buco, cod and wild boat stew, each of which was delicious. Very good and friendly service.

Would come back every time I visit Florence, amazing flavours and quality ❤️

USA review: The atmosphere is incredible, super Tuscan old school, movie vibes. Menu is not in English but we just asked for what the manager/waiter recommended and it was exceptional. Slow cooked, lovingly made food. Heavy and rich and decadent. Also, cheap, somehow. Would go back a million times.

The WORST dining experience my husband and I have experienced. If you are brown/black or don’t speak Italian, DO NOT COME HERE. From the moment, we entered this establishment we were treated with disdain. The older gentleman who was the server for the main floor was literally the worst. He practically was slamming our plates down and cold/icy towards us, while he was warm and smiley with white/Italian guests. When ordering, we clarified if 2 main dishes had pork (given we do not eat this, which we shared with him), so when we ordered a starter that was “toasted bread with various sauces” which came out with some cold cuts of pork

We loved the pasta and the wine, wish someone told us that the portions are sharing, we would have been able to also get our hands on the steak as well as sides, I think the service staff were really tired after a long time, where they could not be as excited as we tourist are. However, the food Pasta as well as the chocolate torte was exceptional. The menu changes on a regular basis, so I don't think recommendations work. Greatspace.

Very average. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, I don't know. The fillet steak was borderline raw, never mind the medium rare we specifically requested. Plus it wasn't the best cut of meat anyway, you shouldn't have fat and any other waste on a fillet. Oh well, you live and learn.

Bel locale camerieri simpatici; L’antipasto (tagliere misti salumi formaggi) molto buono. Io e mio marito abbiamo preso gli spaghetti col baccalà. Sulla quantità niente da dire, era una bella e abbondante porzione, cotti a meraviglia ma del baccalà neanche l’ombra! Tanto sugo piccante ma niente pesce!

Service peu sympathique et plats quelconques sans aucune finesse. Endroit envahi par des anglophones très bruyants. Le seul élément positif est la jolie salle voûtée au sous-sol, mais ça ne vaut pas le déplacement.

We had a photograph session just prior to our reservation, and were running a little late. Our photographer called the restaurant for us to advise them of our situation, and they held the table for us until our arrival. The food was great, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was superb; though a little loud. We completely enjoyed our evening dining at this establishment.

Cucina tipica toscana in ambiente rilassato e conviviale. Sebbene frequentato da turisti la qualità dell’ambiente e soprattutto del menù è ottimo. Pappardelle al cinghiale favolose, la bistecca saporita e tenera. Consiglio vivamente

They told us the dish we were ordering was veal and it wasn’t. It was steak and it came prepared rare. I didn’t want my rare and they refused to cook it more. Then I ordered chicken but it was finished, then I tried to order risotto but it was finished too. Salad was wilted. Overall dreadful experience. After having been here many times, will never return,

Cibo buonissimo, ambiente familiare e accogliente, prezzi ottimi. Non abbiamo avuto occasione di mangiare la bistecca, però abbiamo visto come veniva preparata: uno spettacolo.

Siamo state accolte dalla dirompente simpatia del cameriere, abbiamo cenato divinamente: un affettato toscano, un ossobuco, una tagliata, una torta pere e cioccolato e dei cantucci col vin santo. Tutto molto abbondante. Esperienza da consigliare

Very pleasant and helpful waiter. Tried to get through the Italian menu and was helped by our friendly waiter. Order the steak and it was quite good, even though it was rare no problem, came with a nice little side salad. my wife had the Pasta with Ragu and we both thought it was great. House wine was fine. Service prompt and punctual got out in no time, had a very nice meal and the price was right.

The menu is not updated on the website, so we were disappointed not to find the dishes we wanted to taste. Waiters don't make you feel confortable, they clearly made us understand that we were cash cow tourists. We booked for a table the day before, we called them the D Day to ask them if we could arrive earlier, they say "ok never mind", when we arrive they looked suprised to see us and try to gave us a "bad" table in the basement/cave while they were tables in the terrace or main room availables. Food was just ok, but the worst we have eaten in Firenze during 5 days. We left as soon as we have our pasta finished, atmosphere was electric.
