Absolutely fantastic. From the second we got here until we left. The food the service the music 10/10.

Spectacular location at the shore, very friendly service from Agostin and his colleagues, felt like being among friends. Last but not least very high quality food and wines!

Lovely dinner experience! Our favourite so far on our 5.5 week honeymoon.

Beautiful atmosphere but service at different times of day can very. When I went at night it was very accommodating but during the day I had to repeat multiple times for my drink when it was slow. Other than that loved it.

Amazing Food, Staff and the very best view!! We have celebrated my wife’s Birthday her 3 years in a row while visiting the Amalfi Coast! Definitely recommend the the Fish baked in a Dome of Salt!!

Food, views, and everything in general was great! service was fine, nothing spectacular. We did have way better service in other parts of praiano down the road. The do charge a 10 euro cover charge plus demand tip when you pay. A little interesting. Not as friendly as other restaurants in area but the views make up for it.

We saw Il Pirata on line by accident. We fell in love with the unique cave, waterfront location and the view it offered. The reviews of the food were positive. We also liked that is family owned and run. Our visit there did not disappoint. The food was outstanding as was the service. The location and view far surpassed what you see on line.

L’accoglienza non è stata delle migliori, poiché eravamo in compagnia del nostro cane (premettendo che abbiamo chiamato e chiesto se ci fossero problemi). Nel vedere i brutti sguardi appena entrati, non ce la siamo sentiti di restare e siamo andati via. Credo che il locale per quanto possa essere chic, debba diventare anche inclusivo.

We enjoyed our entire experience at Il Pirata. We received a warm welcome from the staff as soon as we arrived for our reservation. The atmosphere was breathtaking with its gorgeous view of the Mediterranean Sea. All of the food we ordered was prepared perfectly with just the right amount of flavor. My husband is a professional chef, & he was quite impressed. The wait staff was very friendly & attentive to us. We also enjoyed a few of the scrumptious desserts. When we return to Praiano in the future, we will definitely be sure to eat here again.

Tutto TOP. Nulla da dire. L'unico vero grande problema, sono gli insetti. Vi faranno compagnia per tutta la serata. Si poggeranno letteralmente dappertutto. Dentro i bicchieri ricolmi e nei vostri piatti. A parte questa "parentesi" molto poco piacevole, il resto è ottimo e il locale è magico.

The views walking up to the restaurant were so beautiful. When we arrived to the hostess stand, we were seated immediately — there is no bad seat in the entire restaurant. Our server took our drink order right away. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was incredible. The stuffed zucchini flowers, spaghetti with clams, and another spicy spaghetti dish were all so delicious! 10/10 recommend. Don’t forget to order the affogato too!

Great views and meal we enjoyed our ourselves. The guy seated us toward the rear, when I requested a table close to the water edge. The table under the canopy in center close to water stayed open the entire time we were. Guess this special guest never showed up.

Una Bellissima serata indimenticabile da ritornare sempre, preferibilmente fuori stagione.

Ein wundervolles Restaurant. Sind zu Fuß hingelaufen. Hier ging es ziemlich bergab. Heimwärts hat uns der Chef ein Taxi gerufen. Hat super geklappt. Der Heimweg war dann zu bergig. Wir würden wieder hingehen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Il posto e’molto carino Parcheggio un po’costoso dai 3 ai 5 € H E x lo meno devi calcolare 6/8 h se nn ceni se no anche di piu’( quantomeno sarebbe gradita una convenzione ),scogli senza spiaggia mare non sempre pulito per il vento che porta tutto sotto costa, ma nel complesso accettabile, per la bellezza del posto in se x se. Gradevoli i tavolini per pranzare/cenare, cibo di buona qualita’, prezzi un po’sopra la norma , a partire dai 4€ cd solo x ‘sedersi’...12€ x tre persone ( coperto ). X dormire c’e’una sola stanza x due persone, ma molti altri hotel piu’o meno in zona.

I had booked a table for me and my girlfriend as we do every summer. They had reserved a terrible table for us: next to the kitchen door and the till. Also, we were seating less than 1 metre from other tables, which is against any anti-COVID-19 measure. There were many tables available, however they did not allow us to change our spot. We were so close to one another, that the waiter could not walk through the tables and dropped my girlfriend’s purse more than once in the first 10 minutes. Finally, we decided to go to another restaurant nearby and we had a fantastic dinner. I have had numerous dinners at Il Pirata in the past, but I’m sure I will never com back.

Suggestivo ristorante sul mare incastonato nella pietro della roccia della costiera. I piatti si presentano tutti molto bene, ottima e croccante la frittura mista. Consigliato per cene romantiche!

Esperienza meravigliosa, location incantevole e cibo delizioso. La vista offerta dai tavoli sullo scoglio è tra le più romantiche dell’intera costiera. Assolutamente da provare!

Location da favola, è come se mangiassimo sul mare. Cibo ottimo, prezzo medio/alto, ma ne vale davvero la pena.

Exquisite food in a very beautiful setting. Somewhat impersonal delivery but fortunately the cuisine is strong enough to outshine anything else. Would highly recommend!

The food and cocktails was great and the view is amazing!

Service was incredibly slow and impersonal. Front of house were on their phones, and almost surprised, when we arrived. We were then shown to a table shoe-horned between two others (although we did appreciate the view). You get given a wine menu that contained no details of soft drinks available (my wife was pregnant so couldn't have the wine). When she asked the waiter what they had the response came with a level of disappointment that this would be a small cover which then set the tone for the rest of the meal... food was okay but miniscule portions given the price paid (€21 for three tempura prawns). The main courses weren't worth the 30+minute wait after starters had been cleared either. Overall a disappointing experience.
