Ristorante posizionato in un bellissimo e storico posto di Roma. Locale molto bello, personale molto gentile, menù ricco e qualità ottima. Assolutamente da provare con tante ricette tipiche romane.

il cibo era eccellente. il cameriere era molto disponibile e entusiasta. Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo. torneremo a mangiare qui ancora. consigliamo veramente i carciofi.

Da Piperno non si resta mai delusi. Favolosi i carciofi alla giuria, ottima la cacio e unto. Molto buona la coda di bue e la torta di mele.

The food was good, but the waiter could use some patience. After a while, he warmed up to us, but we got off to a slow start.

The food was interesting and delicious. The recommended house white wine by the glass good and the red wine, Cui Cui, was excellent. Top quality at a very reasonable cost.

Piperno is more of and old world restaurant. Menu selections tend to be heavy and salty. It is in the Guideca section of Rome which is rich in culture and history.

Though Ristorante Piperno had been recommended on many English-language websites, the server spoke very little English, which made communication a bit challenging. Food was good, but atmosphere was a little flat.

The food and service were adequate, but unremarkable for the reputation. The waiter seened almist angry that a fouple would split an appetizer and main course at lunch

Fantastic food, friendly staff and excellent menu, all set in a beautiful building.we had artichokes and salt cod to start, both of whixh came out perfectly, followed by meat ragu and a seafood rissotto.

We had a wonderful dinner at Piperno! The service was gracious and impeccable. It was a perfect way to start our our visit to Rome.

Charming spot, friendly service and good food. Has the feel of generations of family ownership a succeeding generations of well-heeled clientele. So, at times it seems a little predictable and dependent upon reputation rather than current efforts. Nonetheless, an enjoyable experience.

Indispensabile prenotare. Se possibile chiedere tavolo all'aperto. La piazza e il contesto sono storia di Roma. A differenza di altri ristoranti a Trastevere niente "caciara" e tavoli distanziati correttamente. Sul tavolo c'era il mio nome e il proprietario ti riceve citando il tuo cognome ( la classe non é acqua ). Carciofi alla Giudia anche se fuori stagione, filetto tenero e ben porzionato, straccetti alla romana forse migliorabili , buon crème caramel e buon vino di Montepulciano. Cameriere efficiente, cortese e simpatico il giusto. Una bella serata ad un prezzo corretto.

Bel ristorante in un no cortile, tranquillo, accogliente. Il servizio era un po 'lento e distratto. Abbiamo ordinato vino bianco (a 30 ° C), diesr venuto senza raffreddamento del vino. Questo abbiamo dovuto ordinare separatamente, così come riempire il nostro vino sempre se stesso. La qualità del cibo era buono, le porzioni ma piuttosto piccole e per il prezzo erano decisamente troppo alto. Pasta 16 euro, Antipiasti 16-24 euro, secondo piatto 20 - 35 euro.

Restaurante a não perder e, se houver disponibilidade, pedir mesa na esplanada. Belíssima comida, bons vinhos e atendimento simpático e amigável. Apenas uma nota negativa: dado que estávamos a gostar fomos prolongando o jantar até que o dono nos chamou a atenção de um modo brusco e nada delicado.

I don't understand Italian. Meal was excellent . The artichokes were unbelievable. Had been there years ago and was so looking forward to returning. It did not disappoint

Piperno was not only the best restaurant we ate at in Rome, but now one of my all-time favorites. It's in a gorgeous, quiet location, with relaxed yet excellent staff, and the fried artichokes are amazing.

Purtroppo il cameriere che ci ha servito e' stato scortese durante le varie ordinazioni (dalle bevande, portate principali, dessert, fino al conto). Peccato perché il cibo e' stato buono e i proprietari cortesi, ma vista l'esperienza in generale di sicuro non ci torneremo

We had a most delicious meal and very good service. We all shared the Piperno appetizer special and I had th pasta with artichokes and fish. The desert were also excellent. We highly recommend eating there.

It was an amazing restaurant, such a charming terrace and incredible food. It was so traditional and finely made. The fried artichokes were extremely tasty and the carbonara pasta was the best I've ever had.

Delicious. Lamb chops were out of this world. The service was great. We ate outside and the atmosphere was terrific. The waiters were exceptional. All great.

Cucina molto tradizionale collaudata, disponibilità e cortesia, in qualch caso la sensazione di cibi non preparati al momento. Ambiente tipico e accogliente, quello che ci aspetta da questo tipo di ristoranti tradizionali

Cibo di ottima qualità, fritti digeribilissimi e preparati con cura, personale molto professionale ed attento ai bisogni del cliente. Un pò caro (16 € per un primo sono sinceramente troppi...).

A very poetic and authentic place, where everything is as it should always be: food just brought me back into my mother's kitchen 35 years in the past , wine's are nothing less but straightness, and waiters and others guests are simply coming out from a Visconti's movie. Thank you for this moment.

The best food we had in Roma, from the antipasti to the desert, the carbonara was fantastic, good service and the people were very nice. You can really see that the restaurant has been around for a very long time and I hope many more years to come.

È un ristorante ottimo, in cui sempre con piacere. Atmosfera un po retrò e io migliori carciofi alla giudia di sempre! Una certezza a Roma anche se un po caro... Ma la qualità si paga!

tornato dopo molti anni, si conferma un ristorante classico che non tradisce mai. ottimi e digeribili i fritti. pasta e ceci indimenticabile. cortese ed efficiente il servizio a tavola. più che buona la cantina. da tornare per mangiare bene e trovarsi a proprio agio.

La qualità dei piatti è nella media. in particolare i famosi carciofi alla giudia sono fritti con olio scadente. Il conto è un pò eccessivo rispetto a quello che ho mangiato. Non credo di tornarci.

Il ristorante ha una storia ed una atmosfera che non deludono mai. I ravioli di vitello mi ricordavano quelli fatti a casa dalla mia mamma 50 anni addietro.

ottimi antipasti primi e secondi. in particolare la cucina tradizionale romana: carciofi alla giudia e coda alla vaccinata davvero super. servizio caldo, cordiale e inappuntabile.

A alcachofra frita estava divina! O espaguete com vongole tambem estava deliciosa. Tudo estava perfeito. Ótimo atendimento, boa relação custo beneficio. Voltarei novamente com certeza!

Very good food, best carbonara in Rome. Traditional restaurant, welcoming, good service, nice atmosphere, feels local (not touristy), our only mistake was not to come back before we left Rome!

The service was excellent, and a nice feel overall to the restaurant. The fried artichokes were delicious, but the entree was not amazing. I ordered prawns in a red sauce, and it was, quite literally, 7 prawns, with most of their shells, in some red sauce. While tasty, it was an underwhelming presentation for a 75 € plate. The two others in my party had similar impressions of their meals.

ottimo! nulla da eccepire. La location è tra le piu' affascinanti di Roma sotto tutti i profili (storico, sociale, politico, ambientale) la cucina eccellente, il servizio assolutamente professionale (insomma come Cristo comanda).
