Smeraldo

Es war nicht das erste Mal bei Smeraldo und wie immer war es ein schöner Abend in gepflegter, aber nicht steifer Umgebung mit hervorragendem Essen in Zubereitung und Präsentation. Genuine Italianità.

Sehr freundlich, guter Service , sprechen deutsch 😉, qualitativ hochwertige Speisen und Getränke. Unbedingt vorher reservieren- immer gut ausgebucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

I’ve been frequenting this lovely restaurant for over 2 decades now and the food remains top notch. True authentic Italian food! Their risotto is fantastic, just like mama used to make. Then I ordered the filet mignon with green peppercorns. It was outstanding! The atmosphere is cozy and charming. I’m always keeping this place on my short list!

Everything here is excellent - the food, the service, the atmosphere. I have nothing bad to say about Smeraldo. The alpino beef is perfect: flavorful, juicy, perfectly done with mushrooms. Total attention to detail. I can’t wait to return.

Wow. I absolutely love Smeraldo. It's hard to find a super solid mid-range restaurant in Lago Maggiore area. The menu is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. Their pasta is very good. My go to's are the tagliatelle con i funghi porcini. And you really cannot go wrong with the meat. I had filetto al pepe verde with polenta. Simply delicious! The staff are also super attentive. They obviously care to make your experience memorable. I will be back many times over, for sure!

This is our family's favorite Italian restaurant in Lago Maggiore area. Service was top notch by both servers that we had. They were both super friendly and attentive to us through the entire meal. The consistent quality of the dishes is outstanding! Will definitely eat there again!

Had a great time! The service and ambiance are incredible. There is a rustic charm that is uncommonly achieved in such an upscale fine dining spot. Great food! I chose the spaghetti and steak au poivre. It was excellent. The beef was tender and tasteful. For dessert, I had bavarese. Phenomenal! I will definitely be a repeat customer at Smeraldo!

Ristorante Smeraldo has always been a fan favorite at my house...great food and wine with something for everyone. Nice atmosphere with a casual, cozy feeling. Would highly recommend.

Let me start by saying that my family and I have been going to Smeraldo for years - birthdays, anniversaries,...This place is a trip! Think super old-school, a classic Italian restaurant in Lago Maggiore area! The "Risotto Smeraldo" was delicious. The portion size was pretty big and we had to pack our leftovers to go. I had also the Pepper steak last time and it was tasty, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. This is definitely on my "will return" list when I'm back in Luino area.

Tagliatelle ai funghi porcini molto buone e ben eseguite, anche se devo sottolineare che la quantità di funghi rispetto alla pasta, era un po’ misera. Il piatto avrebbe acquisito più gusto e sapidità

Io vado allo Smeraldo soprattutto per il loro famoso risotto, che è veramente delizioso. Led razioni così abbondanti che poi non riesco a finire il secondo :-(

Wir waren das 1. Mal im Smeraldo und waren voll zufrieden, es hat alles wunderbar gepasst und auch geschmeckt, auch das Personal sehr feundlich., wir werden wieder kommen. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Conveniente per pranzare tutti i giorni . Buono e servizio rapido

Prenotato tramite Quandoo, facile e immediato. Accolto gentilmente e pranzato con una ottima polenta e coniglio. Meno male che ho prenotato la sera prima, altrimenti era tutto pieno.

pranzo in famiglia pre pasquale varie le scelte ma tutto ottimo ...come sempre il mio risotto col pesce persico fantastico ..peccato il pasticcere fosse ...scappato alla sua pasticceria di Luino ..niente zabaione. .

Cena gustosissima con piatti originali, in un ambiente che ha mantenuto, ai miei occhi , un fascino Anni '70. Personale cortese, prezzi equilibrati. Quello che ci voleva.

Ottimi come sempre i funghi con polenta deliziosi i dolci e l'ospitalità pranzo di ferragosto all'insegna della buona cucina fra tanti clienti stranieri che sanno dove in Italia si mangia veramente bene

Gentili i proprietari ed il personale. Ottime la varietà e la qualità dei piatti proposti. Da ritornarci, sicuramente, visto anche il contesto della zona in cui il ristorante è situato.
