Clean, cozy, mixture of old and modern decor leaning toward rustic, the feel of a country trattoria in the city. Paola was a gracious hostess, the food overall was excellent.

The restaurant decor is very nice in a half-basement. Typical Italian food, quite original with very good quality product. Various meats were excellent with original combination of spices. The waitress was very friendly from arrival until the end of the evening. This is an original place where there is no wine list but the waitress guides you to find a good match. In our case it was simply perfect. Kids loved it too.

Locale gradevolissimo si mangia divinamente la signora e' raffinata e gentile, lui, per fortuna, non e' un sommelier rompiscatole, ma un raffinatissimo oste che ti guida con competenza e passione nella scelta dei vini. Locale accogliente e personale efficiente e gradevole. Cibo ottimo e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Purtroppo i tavolini ballano un po sul pavimento irregolare. Dovrebbero trovare una soluzione a questo inconveniente.

Ottimo antipasto con paté fegatini, meravigliosa matriciana, superba faraona e ho potuto poi assaggiare solo i brutti ma buonissimi !!!(biscotti) ma avrei preso il millefoglie....servizio impeccabile con tanto di chiacchere del gestore squisita persona

Fantastic food, charming and friendly owner who made us very welcome, lovely atmosphere in a restaurant filled with locals. Not another tourist in sight! A really lovely evening.

Really nice restaurant in not so obvious surroundings. In a back street, right in the centre, Mainly locals on the Saturday evening , we where there. Very tasty, honest Italian food. Extensive wine list. We will definitely go back.

We went there on a Tuesday evening. Quiet, but the food was good with unexpected combinations. The waitress/host was very friendly and service was excellent!

We enjoyed our food and the ability to choose our wine right off the shelf. The service was warm and friendly, it felt like an authentic family restaurant.

Very pleasant restaurant with almost exclusively Italian clientele; always a good sign. Warm welcome from owners who speak good English and explained the menu with care. Antipasti and main dishes were all of a high standard and the suggested barbera wine match balanced the fish and guinea fowl beautifully. Generous portions left us with no room for dulce but they sounded good.

The food is good but not great. Great wine selection. Very hospital and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit. There are not that many good restaurants in Rome.

An amazing experience. Delicious food, beautiful wine, charming ambiance. We Celebrated our daughter's 16th birthday and Paola, who is an extraordinary hostess, created memories that will last a life time. The restaurant is just a short walk from the Vatican. I urge you to dine here.

Accoglienza cortese, ambiente piacevole e rilassante. Menu ricco di piatti tradizionali e rivisitati. Ben consigliate le scelte dei piatti e del vino. Tornavano per la seconda volta e non siamo stati delusi.

Ristorante romano, ma con un tocco in più. Antipasti abbondanti e buoni.Ne abbiamo presi 2 divisi in 3. Poi un primo a testa e 2 dolci. Un vino laziale ottimo e dei caffè, tutto per meno di 35 euro a testa. Ci torniamo sicuramente. Il proprietario ci ha consigliato bene ed è stato gentile.

This is True italian food, and excellent service. The level on english is high so you can communicate, yet there is a reall italian feel

Lovely place with a great wine list (walk around and be inspired) and some delicious dishes on the menu. The cacio e pepe is brilliant, as is the millefoglio. And of course the starters. We loved it in Bracciano and will now love it in Rome.

Tutto molto bene, sono stata contattata dal ristorante appena dopo la prenotazione per delucidazioni e conferma. Mangiato molto bene e personale molto cordiale. Prezzi sul medio-alto.

Piatti tradizionali e originali, materie prime di qualità, cibo e vino ottimi, prezzi ragionevoli, ambiente piacevole. Peccato per il servizio che, nell'ansia di essere solerte, risulta invece spesso invadente.

La Cacio e Pepe migliore di Roma!!! Gli affabili gestori rendono l'atmosfera piacevole e rilassante non facendo mai mancare le preziose informazioni sui piatti. Bravi.

Ci torniamo spesso per la "cacio e pepe". Ma altrettanto buone altre proposte in menù. Gentile la proprietaria. Lista dei vini da perfezionare. Equo il rapporto qualità e prezzo.

Great food and fantastic service. We really enjoyed ourselves and could have stayed there all night. We had the courgette flowers to start with anchovie mouse which was delicious. The pasta was to die for and the mains weee tasty. Loved it
