Food was average, below expectations and definitely not worth the price we paid. Flavours fell short, and the preparation of the dishes was just very flawed. Ravioli were chewy, pork belly was served with a sloppy pile of bland vegetables, amuse was so hot that we burnt our mouths (microwaved?) We were just very disappointed overall. It was a present for my mom’s birthday and I wish I had chosen a different restaurant. We would’ve accepted the average food, if it were not for the quite poor service. We ordered an aperitivo, but not even halfway that drink we were served the wine for the first course, so I had two drinks in front of me. And right after the first course, and just after I had finished my aperitivo (so I still hadn’t started on my first wine), I received the wine for the second course. We asked the waiter to slow it down a little, they did listen to that luckily. At one point, however, we critiqued the main course and the waiter came to ask for more feedback (the chef sent him). We gave the feedback, which was more about the fine dining experience and the below-expectations service/preparations/flavours, and he concluded simply that some people just have different tastes. Which is, of course, true, but that was not what the feedback was about. The feedback was about the fact that when you claim to be a fine dining restaurant, you should pay attention to details, timing, taste, and preparation, which were all off key for us today. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, especially not when you’re into fine dining!

A very enjoyable evening at Il Liberty made all the more pleasant by the excellent staff and their thoughtful food and wine recommendations - their choices for pairings for each course worked very well and highly recommended! The atmosphere is quiet, the background music not too loud and the ambience perfect for enjoying one of the best meals I have eaten in Milan.

Come al solito tutto perfetto: cibo ottimo, ambiente elegante, personale cortese e disponibile. Uno dei locali che preferisco a Milano, una garanzia ogni volta che torno.

Ristorante ottimo, dalla cucina al servizio. Il mio compagno ed io abbiamo preso un menù alla cieca ed era tutto buonissimo, piatti particolari e molto curati anche nella presentazione. Complimenti anche al sommelier che consiglia sempre dei vini particolari, magari poco conosciuti ma davvero ottimi

Si mangia sempre molto bene anche le cose molto semplici di un business lunch si sente che sono di qualità. servizio impeccabile ambiente molto carino e prezzi non poi tanto distanti dalle varie hamburgherie della zona. esempio Business lunch con primo secondo acqua calice vino e caffè € 20, l'hamburgheria non molto distante hamburger e coca zero € 18 quindi direi non c'è paragone.

Ristorante molto curato, cucina sublime e soprattutto sapori raramente provati. Complimenti tornerò sicuramente per assaggiare tutto quello che viene proposto, soprattutto i dolci che questa volta non ci stavano!

Cucina che sa innovare su una solida tradizione ed esperienza, dove ogni volta non è mai uguale alla precedente ma sempre interessante. Un riferimento per Milano.
