St. George Restaurant by Heinz Beck

We are from Buffalo, NY. I booked this restaurant for my wife and me for my 75th birthday. She and I are major "foodies," and she is an outstanding amateur chef in her own right. Our two-week trip to Sicily was constructed around this reservation. We had the 7-course tasting menu with the premium wine selection. From start to finish it was "absolute perfection" (my wife's words). From the sculptured butter to the Sicilian cassata cake, it was an experience I will always treasure. Gehobene italienische mit (manchmal unnötig) modernen Einflüssen aus der Ära der Molekularküche mit Varianten von aromatisiertem Rauch, Schaum und Dampf. Stark besonders in den eher traditionellen Gerichten aber nicht jeder Gang hält konstant das versprochene Niveau. Nach Wunsch entweder als Menu oder aus der großen a la carte Karte. Umfangreiche Weinkarte mit vielen regionalen und internationalen Positionen zu gehobenen Preisen. Professioneller durchgehend englischsprachiger Service.

It was my wife's birthday dinner. We had a fantastic experience. the food was outstanding, the presentation was wonderful and the staff were excellent. A memorable night.

Exceptional service and food was beyond my expectations. Highly anticipated each food course’s presentation and taste. I would have liked a written description for each course due to bad hearing and occasionally noisy in the dining area.

The tasting menu was amazing. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented. I was disappointed with the Cremant that was recommended. I couldn't drink it as the aftertaste was too strong and it was not dry as I had asked. I have had a lot of various Cremant previously and never had one taste like this. So overall we loved our experience apart from the bottle of Cremant. The waiting staff were very attentive and efficient.

The chef is very creative and the food is delicious and beautiful. One of the very best restaurants in the world.

Literally best restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. We had the 5 course with the premium wine pairing. Every item they brought us literally made our legs buckle.

Probably the best meal I have ever had. Get the tasting menu, each dish is absolutely incredible. The service was also fantastic, I cannot recommend St George enough! We went for our anniversary and I asked for a nice view, and they gave us a view overlooking the bay. It was truly a special evening which I will never forget. Thank you St George!

הארוחה הייתה הרבה מעבר לאוכל, חוויה של טעמים מתפוצצים בפה, צילחות יפייפה, שירות ברמה מדויקת וכמובן שטעים בצורה קיצונית. החסרון היחידי הוא הישיבה במרפסת וחם נורא, אין מצנני אויר וזה היה ממש קשה לשבת בחום. לסיכום במילה אחת-משובח!

The most beautiful plating I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to a lot of Michelin restaurants. The food was also delicious…sea bass was pricey but the most well-cooked I’ve had since my 1.5 weeks in Italy. The canapé was my favorite part of the meal though! Can see why they have two stars!

The food and service was amazing. We did only order two courses each but with everything else they provided it was more than enough food my wife and I. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone interested in fine dining at its best.
